Yoga Coordinator & Instructor
Emily is a mother of two young children, a yoga teacher, a reiki master, an avid reader and an arts & crafts enthusiast. She drew on the practices of yoga while pregnant and in labor and hopes that she can pass that knowledge on to her students through her teaching. As a yoga teacher at the Womb Room, her goal is to guide those entering motherhood through a practice that is not only soothing in the moment, but that will support the body and mind for all of the challenges that are to come.
Emily has been teaching since 2013; she came to the practice with a deep love of movement from her years as a childhood athlete. Through the years, she has developed a strong understanding of body awareness, energy, alignment, and action. In her teaching, she encourages students to fully inhabit their bodies and breath, embracing each moment as an opportunity for exploration. She firmly believes that yoga is for everyone, regardless of background, flexibility, or experience.
In Emily’s classes, students are guided breath by breath through intelligent sequencing designed to challenge, awaken, and ultimately soothe, leading them into a state of presence—free from judgment or expectation.

I believe yoga can be a powerful way to feel more connected to your body, your breath, and yourself - especially during the major transitions of pregnancy and early parenthood. My goal is to create welcoming, supportive spaces where people can slow down, move with intention, and feel empowered and connected throughout this season of life.
I am a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), having completed my yoga teacher training in 2021, with a background and passion rooted in yoga, dance, movement, mindfulness, and meditation. I am especially excited to bring my yoga practice into the prenatal and postpartum space, creating classes that honor the changing body while making movement feel accessible, joyful, and supportive. As a new mom, I have a personal understanding of the physical and emotional transitions that come with pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood, and I am continuing to deepen my knowledge through prenatal and baby-and-me yoga education and practice.
